HELP

HELP uses networking events to help lone parents to make progress with their business ideas and to connect socially with others in their position, where such opportunities are scarce. The networking sessions are held during school hours to enable lone parents to participate, and the groups are facilitated by experienced people. The events are organised in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus. They form part of the HELP outreach programme to promote self-employment and encourage lone parents to take part.
