Role of Business Adviser

Your role is a key resource for a disabled entrepreneur wishing to create a sustainable start-up business. You will be enabling the client to access personal and business skills training, signposting on benefits advice, and providing information on start-up finance and on specialist disabled people’s organisations and networks.

As always, your approach will be to work in a client-centred, holistic way at the pace set by the client. The pace is particularly important in the case of some people with disabilities. Disabled clients may have variable quality of health and at certain times may not be able to focus on their businesses’ development.
